Steamed Abalone Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 abalone
  • 1 garlic
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon peanut oil
  • ½ tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned soy sauce for seafood
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned soy sauce for seafood
  • ⅛ teaspoon sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon chicken powder

Method

  1. Firstly, we should prepare 10 abalones.
  2. Now we should lightly score the surface of the abalones with a homogeneous crosswise knife.
  3. Finely minced 2 chili peppers, save them for later. Finely mince one garlic, save it for later. Shred 3 slices of ginger, save them for later. Finely mince 1 bunch of green onions, save it for later.
  4. After prepared Ingredients, we should marinate abalones. Put the abalones into a bowl. Then add ginger, 1 tablespoon cooking wine, 1/8 teaspoon white pepper. Then grab them well with our hands and then marinate them for 10 minutes.
  5. When the abalones are marinating, we can wash the abalones’ shells. Use the toothbrush to brush all of the shells. Drain and save them for later.
  6. Now we can cook the steamed sauce. Firstly, add 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon peanut oil into the pan. Use big fire to heat the oil. Then add half finely minced garlic into the pan. Fry it to golden which means it cooked enough. Then pour it into a bowl. Add chili peppers, the rest of garlic, 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon seasoned soy sauce for seafood, 1/8 teaspoon sugar, 1/8 teaspoon chicken powder into the bowl. Stir well the sauce and save for later.
  7. Now we can cook the steamed sauce. Firstly, add 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon peanut oil into the pan. Use big fire to heat the oil. Then add half finely minced garlic into the pan. Fry it to golden which means it cooked enough. Then pour it into a bowl. Add chili peppers, the rest of garlic, 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon seasoned soy sauce for seafood, 1/8 teaspoon sugar, 1/8 teaspoon chicken powder into the bowl. Stir well the sauce and save for later.
  8. After that, cover the lid and steam abalones for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, sprinkle with green onions. Then we made the delicious steamed abalones.
